Anne Dudek
Anne Louise Dudek, an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role is that of Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks in the USA Network television series Covert Affairs Dr. Amber Volakis on the Fox series House Lura Grant on the HBO series Big Love and Francine Hanson on the AMC series Mad Men. Anne Dudek is an American actress, best known for her performance as Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy film White Chicks. Her other roles include her TV roles, including the character Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Dudek was born and raised in Massachusetts. She was educated at Northwestern University, where her first performance as an actress was in a stage production was The Iphigenia Cycle. The production went off-Broadway in New York City where she received the Joseph E. Calloway award for her stunning performance and was named one of the top 10 young stage actors to watch in American Theater Magazine. Dudek was offered television and big-screen roles. From 2008 to 2016, the talented actress married Matthew Heller. Dudek was born March 22 1975, on the 22nd of March, 1975 in Boston Massachusetts but raised in Newton. In her early days, she enrolled at Northwestern University where she performed in numerous theatre productions. Her debut on the stage was also her Broadway debut on Wrong Mountain (2000). The performance in 2000 as The Glass Menagerie won her the Connecticut Critics Circle Award. She then appeared on television for the first time in the British comedy-drama The Book Group. The actress has appeared on a number of other TV shows like Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother Friends ER Charmed Bones Numb3rs and Six Feet Under. Also, she was Lucinda in the first episode for Psych. Then, she played a schoolteacher with a romantic relation to one of the students on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek got cast into the role of a recurring character starting with the fourth season of House. As House's character, she played Amber Volakis. She is one of the doctors that Dr. Gregory House considers for permanent positions on his staff. Her character continued to appear throughout the series, but was killed off in House's head, the second of two episodes and Wilson's Heart. Later, she would reappear in the episode Saviors of Season 5 as the character who was House's hallucination. The character continued to be seen as this for the rest in the entire season. Dudek also appeared on Mad Men as next-door neighbor Francine Hanson as well as in Big Love as one of Alby Grant's antagonistic wives, both in recurring roles. The year 2010 saw Dudek became part of the cast on Covert Affairs portraying Danielle Brooks who is the sister of the main character. She has also appeared in movies as the character of the heir to a cruise line Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy White Chicks and also played Anthony Hopkins's daughter in The Human Stain.
